Peggy and Sally, identical twins, grew up in Wallingford, Pennsylvania
outside of Philadelphia and graduated from Miami University of Ohio with
a B.S. in Business. Childhood
trips to Delaware cemeteries began the obsession of over 30 years of research
(with time off for raising children) on the Deakynes and satellite families
descending from their original settler, George Dakeyne, surveyor to William
Penn.
Peggy
currently lives in Clifton, Virginia with her husband, Rick, and is recently
an empty-nester having much more freedom to pursue New Castle County,
Delaware genealogy.

Sally
lives in Montville, New Jersey with her husband, Mike. Mike is a professional
golfer at a private country club in NJ and Sally works for him part
time. Their two daughters are away at college also, giving her lots
of time now to travel with Mike and work on genealogy and write books.
Peggy
and Sally are members of the Delaware Genealogical Society, the Association
for Professional Genealogists, New Castle County Historical Society,
Fairfax Genealogical Society, and the National Genealogical Society.
They have also attended many genealogical seminars and conferences.
